The marriage of cutting-edge materials and meticulous design transforms the Air snorkel into more than just gear - it's a steadfast companion, poised to endure and enhance your underwater experiences for years to come.
In the inception of Air, we embarked on a journey to reimagine the conventional snorkel. The concept was simple yet profoundly transformative - design a snorkel that not only provided enhanced oxygenation for freedivers but also ensured it would float, safeguarding against the depths of the sea, and providing effortless underwater manoeuvrability. Our pursuit to craft the Air snorkel involved meticulous research into materials, and a hunt for the perfect equilibrium between buoyancy, weight, and environmental responsibility. With a commitment to sustainability, we delved into innovative materials that not only met the performance criteria but also aligned with our eco-conscious ethos. The result is a snorkel that not only elevates the freediving experience but also reflects our dedication to crafting products that harmonize with both nature and performance.
Air proudly boasts CE / EN1972:2016 certification. The (CE) EN1972:2016 standard is a European regulation that sets out requirements and test methods for snorkels. It applies to snorkels for surface use, excluding those for scuba diving, and mandates designs that minimize injury risks with specifications for shape, dimensions, and materials, ensuring they are non-toxic and durable against seawater, sunlight, and wear. Performance requirements focus on low airflow resistance and structural integrity. Comprehensive testing methods simulate real-world conditions to verify compliance. Adherence to this standard assures consumers of the snorkel's quality and safety, reflecting the EU's commitment to recreational equipment standards.
Air is specifically designed for diving and swimming purposes. Using it for any other activity outside of water is not recommended and may result in the product failing or getting damaged, leading to potential personal injury.
Air is designed to require minimal maintenance. Before first use, and when needed, clean thoroughly with mild soap. You may also use a soft bottle brush and/or a soft sponge. Rinse thoroughly with fresh water.
